International Tech Park Bangalore – Premier IT Hub in Whitefield

International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) is one of the oldest and iconic tech parks in India. Located in Whitefield, East Bangalore, this park is home to many well-known companies from around the world. It started in 1994 and became fully working in 1998. The exact address of ITPB is Whitefield Road, ITPL Main Road, Whitefield, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560066. This place is about 18 kilometres from Bangalore’s city centre and is well-connected to all parts of the city.

Who Owns and Manages ITPB?

At first, ITPB was a joint project between Ascendas India Pvt. Ltd. (part of Singapore’s Singbridge Group) and KIADB (Government of Karnataka). Today, it is managed by CapitaLand, which took over from Ascendas-Singbridge.

What Makes ITPB Special?

ITPB spans a large area of 69 acres and features approximately 5 million square feet of built-up space. It is a Grade A+ tech park, meaning it meets very high standards of design, construction, and maintenance. It offers both SEZ (Special Economic Zone) and non-SEZ office spaces, providing companies with choices for their workspaces.

The park has many famous buildings like Discoverer, Innovator, Explorer, Creator, Inventor, Navigator, Voyager, Aviator, Victor, Anchor Building, and Tower 6. These office towers have fast internet, advanced air conditioning, fire safety, and 24/7 security. There is also a multi-level car parking area that provides enough space for cars and two-wheelers.

A Hub for Global Companies

More than 85 national and international companies have offices in ITPB. Some top names are:

These companies bring thousands of jobs to the area, making Whitefield a popular place for tech workers and their families.

That is why nearby housing projects, such as Prestige Southern Star, are becoming increasingly popular. Located close to ITPB, this residential area offers luxury living with easy access to the tech park.

A Place to Work and Relax

ITPB is made like a small city. It has everything people working there might need during the day:

Swimming pool and lounges to relax
Conference halls and meeting rooms
ATMs, banking services, and a shopping arcade
Park Square Mall and Vivanta by Taj Hotel inside the campus

Excellent Location and Connectivity

ITPB is on Whitefield Road and ITPL Main Road. This makes it easy to reach from many parts of Bangalore. It is also connected to the Outer Ring Road (ORR). The airport, Kempegowda International Airport, is about 35 to 40 kilometers away. It takes around 35 to 60 minutes to drive there. The time depends on how much traffic there is.

Public transport is excellent here. Whitefield Railway Station is only 1–2 km away, and many BMTC bus stops are nearby. The park is also connected to the Pattandur Agrahara Metro Station on the Purple Line. A special walkway to the metro station was approved in 2023 to make travel easier.
